Christ was born into the human condition through Mary, and was born of water (amniotic fluid) as all human beings are born. This was to satisfy the legal condition that He be fully God and fully Man in order to lay claim to take title of the earth! Hence His name, the Son of Man. The water (Christ’s human birth) and the blood (His death) bear witness to His humanity, His Messiahship and His right to be king of the earth.
