What About the Pygmies? - Show Notes

Summary:
Jesus Christ is the only name under heaven whereby men might be saved. This fact is often the subject of the question, “What about the primitive or native peoples who live in remote areas of the world who have never heard of the Bible or Jesus? We explore the topic of what God has revealed about Himself to the world, and what men are accountable for accepting or rejecting.

Notes:
Question from a subscriber:

Why would God allow so many indigenous cultures to practice paganism and not be exposed to Christianity?  Aren't they also His children? What happens to them? I'm trying to understand the timeline of the Bible and Christianity, but how do indigenous cultures fit into that timeline especially if they've never been exposed to the Bible or Christianity?

We are not children of God by birth; we are children of God by adoption.

Scripture References:
All Scripture references are cited from the King James Bible.

1 Timothy 2:3-7, 2 Peter 3:9, Acts 17:24-27, Genesis 11:1-9, Deuteronomy 32:7-9, Exodus 19:3-6. Deuteronomy 28:9-14, Psalm 19:1-6, Romans 1:16-25, 1 John 3:10-12, John 8:42-45, Romans 8:14-17, John 1:9-13, Romans 10:13-18, 2 Peter 3:8-13, 1 Thessalonians 5:2-6

Takeaway:
God is just and loving. He would not hold men accountable for that which they have never seen or heard. The Scriptures, however, tell us the world has seen the invisible things of God from the creation, so they are without excuse. God did reveal Himself to humanity throughout the ages in the heavens and creation! All of HIs creation points to redemption through His Son. But in due time, He testified of His Son Jesus, who gave Himself for our sins, through the foolishness of preaching. God desires all men to be saved, but it will be through Christ.
